It's Never Too Late to Get Rich

You receive this letter from me each week because you’ve told me you are interested in starting your own internet business. So what’s stopped you from doing that thus far? Money. That can’t be because I’ve told you about opportunities that cost less than $100 to get you started? Not enough time in your schedule? That can’t be it either because internet based businesses require very little time to run.

Afraid you won’t make any money in this business? That’s ludicrous. The margins in this business are the highest I’ve seen in any business and I have made well over a million dollars running a web based business.

Are you afraid it’s too late for you? That’s silly, but I wonder if that’s what’s holding you back from starting an internet business and achieving wealth. I’ve heard this excuse before from clients and customers. It’s simply not true.

Did you know that Martha Stewart didn’t start her magazine and lifestyle business until she was nearly 50 years old? Before that she was a model, stockbroker and caterer.

Then there’s Jim Koch, the founder of Sam Adams beer. Being in the brew business was his third career move. Before that he was an instructor for outward bound and worked for a consulting company.

Don’t forget Julia Child. We all know her as a master chef, but that’s not how she started her career. In fact she didn’t attend culinary school till she was 36 years old and didn’t become known for it until she was 51. Before that she was a journalist and a spy working for the Office of Strategic Service (the precursor to the CIA).

And Colonel Sanders didn’t start his Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant until he was 65 years old.

As you can see it’s never too late to start something new. Saying I’m too old is just an excuse. In fact nearly 25 percent of all businesses in America in recent years were founded by entrepreneurs between the ages of 55 and 64 according to AARP.

The Mark Zuckerberg’s of the world have everyone believing that starting a business is only for the young. That’s so not true. Just think of all the advantages older entrepreneurs have over their younger counterparts; more experience, additional patience, more problem-solving skills, greater knowledge, better negotiating skills and a larger rolodex of business contacts. The odds of success are in your favor!

The reason that Martha, Jim, Julia and the Colonel had success later in life was because they followed their dreams. None of them believed they were too old to switch directions or start their own businesses. They did not believe in the excuse “I’m just too old to do it.”

What’s really interesting about each of them too was that the businesses they started had nothing to do with the work they did earlier in their lives. Instead they started businesses around things they were passionate about. Julia loved cooking French cuisine, Martha loved decorating, organizing and cooking, and Colonel Sanders had a passion for developing great chicken dishes.

So if you are going to start a business what type should you start? Well that’s a highly personal question. But I can tell you that internet based businesses earn some of the highest margins around, take the least amount of time to run, are extremely flexible, don’t require knowledge on building websites or for you to be particularly tech savvy.

If you are interested in getting rich as quickly as possible and doing it with only minimum work then I have what you want. People regularly make thousands of dollars a month with online businesses. You can be one of them.

You’re probably thinking that starting an online business requires thousands of dollars in start-up costs. Nope.  You can get started for just a few bucks and be up and running in a day. This kind of business really is like pushing a magic button and having money flood your checking account.

Whatever business you choose, know that some of the most successful ones were started by people older than you.

Good luck! Once you’ve got yourself up and running contact me to see if we can do any joint ventures together. I look forward to hearing from you!
